THE FACTS

Where are you located?

Do you serve food?

We put all our energy and focus into our beers. We don't serve food. But we do have some Von Hanson Pretzel Snacks and Meat Sticks available and you are always welcome to bring in food or have food delivered to the taproom. We have several menus available in the taproom from some of the fine eating establishments near us.

Do you offer flights or tasters?

Picture

Yes, we offer flights of four for $10 or individual tasters for $2.50 each.

Are children allowed in the taproom?

We welcome families with children in the taproom. We have some fun games and activity books to keep kids (and adults) occupied.

Is your taproom dog friendly?

Although we love dogs and have two at home that keep us highly entertained, our taproom is on the second floor and therefore poses some hazards for the flow of pets and people.

Do you offer tours of the brewery?

Yes, we offer tours every Saturday at 1 pm. A tour ticket ($15) includes a Torg brewery glass, sticker AND a free pint of your choice.

Do you sell growlers?

Yes. We have growlers for sale Monday through Thursday taproom hours and on Friday before 6 pm. Sorry, no on-demand growler sales on the weekend, but if you pre-order a growler 24 hours in advance (see Growler Pre-Order Service), we will have it poured and ready for pick-up during normal taproom hours any day of the week.

What do you charge for growlers?

New Growler glasses are $10.

Growler fills are $15, although specialty and seasonal beers may be priced higher. If you have a clean, empty Torg Brewery growler, you will only need to pay the fill price and we will exchange your return for a freshly cleaned, sanitized, and chilled bottle ready for fill.

What beers are available for growler fills?

Most of the beers on tap are available for growler fill, although we may have to limit or halt growler sales occasionally on some brands due to availability and production schedules.

Do you fill other brewery’s growlers?

For quality control purposes and to meet labeling requirements, we will not be filling other brewery growlers. However, if you have one you would like to exchange for a Torg Brewery growler, we will gladly give you $1 off our growler glass. (If you have a stainless steel or customized growler you would like us to fill, it must be clean and have the federal government mandated alcohol warning label on the bottle in order for us to fill it. We can only fill 64oz growlers.)

Other Growler Notes:

All growlers must be consumed off-site. It’s the law!

If you order your growler while at the taproom, please be patient with our staff as they fill your growler. It may take 15-20 minutes to get the job done right, especially if we’re busy. It takes time to quality fill your growler and ensure it’s as close as possible to a fresh pour when you open it at home.

Growler Pre-Order service:

growlerfill@torgbrewery.com

All growlers must be consumed off-site. It’s the law!

Notify us at least 24 hours before you plan to pick up your growler and we will have your growler poured and ready for pick up when you arrive. Please don’t forget to include which of our fabulous beers you would like us to pour and the approximate time and date you’ll be in to pick-up your growler.

Do you have a gluten free beer?

Currently, Torg Brewery does not offer any GF beers. However, Burning Brothers Brewing in St. Paul specializes in GF beer. We do have sodas and water to drink in the taproom as well.

Do you take reservations?

We generally serve taproom guests on a first-come, first-served basis, but we do reserve tables for larger groups or special events. Please notify samantha@torgbrewery.com or talk to one of our friendly staff about reserving a table.

Do you allow large groups or have any spaces for special events?

Yes we do! Please reach out to us at samantha@torgbrewery.com or matthew@torgbrewery.com to discuss event planning.

What happens if I forgot to close out my tab?

All unpaid, open tabs are closed out at the end of the evening and a 20% gratuity is added. You can pick up your card during public taproom hours.

If you still have a question, we would love to hear from you. Please email us at operations@torgbrewery.com or send us a message on FaceBook. Better yet, stop in for a pint and ask our friendly staff in person.

That which is brewed is always beautiful

TORG BREWERY believes that which is brewed is always beautiful and strives to translate this philosophy into beers that present the rich complexity of grain, the subtle influences of hops, and the marvels of fermentation.  To that end, we craft brew quality ales and lagers that satisfy both the beer enthusiast and welcome in the beer novice.
Our welcoming taproom encourages conversation, camaraderie, and sense of community among our patrons.  We value the tradition  of service and are therefore committed to supporting growth and development within our local community and the craft brewing industry.
